Food really is our specialty and we offer a menu for every occasion. Dinner is available in the decadent surrounds of the Opulence Restaurant, the relaxed and informal downstairs Lounge, or in the comfort of your own bedroom.

We can cater for whatever you fancy from gourmet tasting meals in our exclusive Chef’s Table to fine dining and a la carte menu in the Opulence Restaurant. We have four smaller rooms to choose from, or for larger events, the stunning surrounds of Opulence Restaurant can be made available for private hire.

Opulence Restaurant is without a doubt one of the most impressive restaurants in Derby – with its grand sweeping staircase, original stained glass windows, and Scagliola banisters that lead you upstairs to Opulence Restaurant where you’ll instantly understand why it has been given its name.

Oak wall paneling, decorative ceilings, and cornice work are complimented by designer fabrics, flock wallpaper, and Italian glass chandeliers to create an elegantly styled restaurant.

Afternoon Tea

Unwind and relax over a traditional or luxurious Afternoon Tea in the stylish surroundings of our Opulence Restaurant. We’ll serve up a delicious selection of homemade cakes, pastries, and sandwiches for you to indulge in while you catch up on the latest happenings with friends or loved ones.

Afternoon Tea is available from 12 pm-3 pm, Every Friday – Sunday.

Galleries is a delightfully light and airy room that can seat up to 18 guests. High ceilings, oversized windows, and an abundance of original features create a stunning setting for your private dining requirements.

For smaller parties of up to 10 our downstairs rooms ‘Chambers’ and ‘Magistrates’ may be more suited to your needs. With direct access to Bogarts’s Bar, Magistrates is ideal for smaller parties looking to combine alcoholic beverages with their dinner.

The ultimate dining experience: This isn’t just a mouth-watering meal, it is a taste adventure; a culinary journey. Learn about our innovative cooking techniques and how we create unusual dishes that just work.

But this isn’t just an education in food, we’ve got wine experts on board too. Wine will be carefully chosen to perfectly match each course and our sommelier will talk you through their choices.
